![]() I have high hopes for the sequel, so much so i haven't watched any of the footage as i just want to experience it in game, day one. If they could implement the score in a better way in the sequel I would be over the moon. Remnant's soundtrack is genuinely great but it's barely there, when it kicks in it amplifies the atmosphere sooooo much more. Better balance between ambient area sound effects and the score. Tension and stakes are so high, atmosphere is even more terrifying and at times ( especially when I'm in Rhom ) it genuinely feels like a better / scarier Resident Evil 4. For me Survival mode became the default way to play Remnant. If possible i want a Survivor mode available day one. Shooting shit feels soooo damn good, visual and sensual feedback is excellent, controls feels so tight and satisfying, everything about Remnant's gameplay loop is just perfect to me.įor the sequel I have two main hopes / wishes : Now i understand what people mean when they say how shooting feels sooooo good in a title. Those sentences never made any sense to me, i rarely play shooters, whether it be first or third person and none of the games i played ever gave me that special feeling. But, there are a few things fans hope the sequel improves upon. For years i would always read about how shooting in Halo, Destiny or Gears felt so special or how it had this " weight " behind it. Remnant: From the Ashes just had its sequel announced at the 2022 Game Awards.
